Red Velvet cake-in-a-jar

 WINTER FLAVOR

Rich red cake with creamy white frosting. Absolutely no cream cheese here. Classic, as the Waldorf intended. Our red is a delightful Christmas red, no burgundy in sight, layered with a light and airy classic white ermine frosting. Our Red Velvet is topped with chopped walnuts. Simply perfect!

Serving Instructions

Our cake-in-a-jar is at its best when served at room temperature.

While our delicious cake-in-a-jar is ready-to-eat and we know you can't wait to dive in, practicing just a little restraint will make the experience that much better. Just as real better spreads best on toast when it's at room temperature, so is our cake-in-a-jar the ideal texture and consistency when it's at room temperature.

Take your cake-in-a-jar out of the fridge and leave it out for 1-2 hours before consuming. Or, take it out the night before to enjoy the next day.

This is a Seasonal Flavor which is not currently available.

  • Optimal Enjoyment

TL;DR - Eat at room temperature.
Fun Fact: the primary ingredient in both our cake and frosting is butter. Would you take cold butter out of the fridge to try to spread on toast? No, of course not. You let it come up to room temperature. Same thing with cake-in-a-jar. The cake crumb is soft, light, moist. The frosting is creamy, delicate, melt-in-your-mouth. I know it's hard, but wait. We promise it will be worth it!

  • Get It To Me Fast

    TL;DR - 2 days or less.
We know: you ordered cake and you want to eat it now! We're with ya! Depending on your location, we ship 1 day (ground when we can) or 2 day. The last thing we want is your cake in a truck, in transit. We want you to have the freshest cake, as fast as possible. Sit tight - it's on its way. We promise it's worth the wait!
